We went on a month-long road trip and visited the site of every nuclear power station in the UK.

 

The criteria was simple. If it was nuclear and at any time in its history provided power to the National Grid* we had to see it.

 

*Some nuclear reactors were built as test beds. As these didn't ever provide power to the National Grid we didn't officially need to see them (although in some cases we did anyway).
